All extenders are available in kit form: 1 packet of powder and 1 - 100mL bottle of sterile water.

You can purchase just the powder, if so desired.

• Prevents agglutination of spermatozoa so that forward motility can be determined.
• Destroys penile pathogens in the semen when an anitbiotic has been added.
• Buffers the pH of antibiotics added to the semen.
• Maintains a higher percent of forward motility over time as compared to raw semen.
• Increases the insemination dose volume making it easier to handle and minimizing spermatozoa loss in equipment such as pipettes.
• Allows for storage of cooled semen for use up to 48 hours later.
