The McCulloch edical™ Resuscitator/Aspirator is a simple-to-use, hand-held unit to clear respiratory passages and pump air into a struggling newborn animal’s lungs. Traditional methods to revive distressed calves and foals have included removing mucus by hand then hanging and shaking the newborn animal over a gate or fence. Others may try to swing the animal around hoping centrifugal force will do the job. These methods are hit or miss at best and sometimes cause further damage to the animal.

The McCulloch Medical™ Resuscitator/Aspirator was originally developed from a patented human resuscitator and is manufactured to meet the International Standard for Human Resuscitators. EVERY unit is performance-evaluated on a test lung.

One person can operate the McCulloch Medical™ Resuscitator/Aspirator using a simple push-pull action. Valves at each end do all the work. On the wide end there are two 1-way induction valves. On the narrow end there is one 2-way valve.
